This is our flagship heavy-duty edition… The Rugged Outdoor Notebook Companion. These “Rugged”
versions have the same content as their standard counterpart, The Outdoor Notebook Companion, but as
the name suggests, is designed to last much longer and hold up under adverse conditions. Instead of
printing the book on regular paper, it is printed on a synthetic laminate material which looks and feels like
normal paper but is water and tear resistant. Even if the book gets wet, the ink will not run, and the
book can be dried and restored to use. The ink is also UV resistant, and has archival properties. To
increase it’s strength further, the binding is upgraded and the cover is also a thick version of the plastic
laminate card stock. The end result is an extremely tough, durable, long lasting book.
